It was another great bowling performance by the Indian bowlers as expected as they were able to limit New Zealand team for just 243 runs.
New Zealand could not get a good start again after winning the toss as they were 59 for 3 at one stage.
But Ross Taylor who got together with Tom Latham were able to build on a century partnership before Tom Latham was bowled out for 51 runs.
Ross Taylor played a very good inning of 91 runs and helped them to get over 240.
But 240 does not look as a big challenge for Indian batsmen as they have already got onto 47 runs in 11 overs by loosing only 1 wicket.
They need further 195 runs to win from 39 overs at a required run rate of 5.05 runs per over.
Batsmen at the middle for India are Rohit Sharma who is on 19 and Virat Kholi who is yet to open his account.
