2 nd ODI India vs New Zealand Innings Break Report:India gets a strong score on board to put pressure on New Zealand


It was a well measured inning from the Indians to get a very strong score of  324 runs for 4 wickets on the board at the end of their inning.

After winning the toss and deciding to bat first,India got onto a great start with ever reliable Dhawan-Rohit combination as Dhawan contributed with 66 runs and Rohit contributed with 81.

At one stage they looked like even passing 350 runs but New Zealand bowlers came up with some regular wickets to take the game back to balance.

But Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadav who combined with experienced Ms Dhoni took India over 320 and was able to set a strong score on board.

For New Zealand Ferguson and Boult was able to take 2 wickets each.

New Zealand need 325 runs to win from 300 balls at a run rate of 6.5 runs per over .
