1 st Test England vs Windies 2 nd day Live:Windies get three early wickets


It did not take long for England to dismiss the remaining two Windies batsmen in the morning session of the second day here at Kensington Oval.

But Windies managed to get closer to a par score as they were able to add on 289 runs to the scoreboard.

Shimron Hetmyer who stood up for Windies scored 81 runs and that helped Windies to add some respect to the scoreboard.

Shai Hope and Roston Chase scored timely half centuries to decorate Windies inning.

James Anderson was able to get another fifer and Ben Stokes helped him by taking 4 wickets.

In reply England has now lost 3 early wickets for 44 runs and they are still trailing Windies 1 st inning by 245 runs.

Batsmen at the middle for England are Joe Root who is on 4 and Ben Stokes who is yet to open his account.

Kemar Roach has accounted for 2 wickets so far as Holder took the price wicket of Jennings.
