1 st ODI Pakistan vs South Africa:Innings break analysis

It was a kind of cautious approach by the South African batsmen in the 1 st inning of the match as they were only able to add on 266 runs on the board in their 50 overs although they had 8 wickets in hand.

With the kind of start they were able to get a big score on board and we were assuming 280 as a par score here although the average 1 st inning score of all time here is lowers as 233.

Hashim Amla was the star performer for South Africa as he was able to remain unbeaten at the end of the inning on 108.

Rassie Dussen helped him well with a contribution of 93 runs off just 110 balls.

Pakistan bowlers bowled pretty well to restrict South African attack to 266 although they were not able to take regular wickets.

Pakistan team need 267 runs to win from 300 balls at a required run rate of 5.34 runs per over.

As we reckon game is in a well balanced position and if Pakistan can keep wickets in hand till the end ,aheiving the target does not look like impossible.
