Women's Big Bash league 2018-19 Adelaide Strikers vs Brisbane Heat-Live updates-Strikers won by 36 runs

As expected 173 was too much for heats as they finished on 136 runs giving  Strikers a 36 runs win.

In their chase Heats lost only 2 wickets but went at a lower run rate of 6 runs per over all through the innings when the required rate was over 8.5 runs per over resulting a considerably big loss in T20 with lots of wickets in hand.

Mooney and Short both score 60 odd runs but went at a Strike rate of 110 odd when the required rate went up for 10 plus runs in an over.

It was a good start for strikers and  experienced Sophie Devine managed to get the player of the match award for Strikers.
