Big Bash League Hobart Hurricanes vs Brisbane Heat:Match updates

It was another rain affected game here in Queensland as Hurricanes was able to get their first win on the board in their first match.

Game was restricted to 19 overs with the rain interruptions and  Hurricanes added on 159 runs on the board after their 19 overs by loosing only 6 wickets to give Heat a challenging target.

D Arcy Short played really well to get Hurricanes into a respectable score by scoring 67 off just 52 balls.

In reply Brisbane Heat only managed to get a score of 144 by loosing all their 10 wickets and were short by 15 runs at the end.

James Faulkner bowled pretty well to take 3 wickets for 25 runs and Archer,Botha and Riley took 2 wickets each to earn Hurricanes a confidence boosting win.

Player of the match was  D Arcy Short for his great batting effort.
