1 st Test Sri Lanka vs New Zealand:Match updates

Wonderful 2 days for Sri Lanka cricket team as they were able to play without loosing any wicket on 4 th and 5 th day inorder to save the test for the team.

Going into 4 th day morning they were 20 for 3 and was trailing by 276 runs and looked like an one sided affair for New Zealand boys.

But Mathews and Mendis had other ideas as they continued to bat on and on for 5 sessions without even giving any half chance for New Zealand to grab.

It looked like they were batting for their lives. At the end of the match they were 287 for 3 when rain arrived.

It was a wonderful game and was a great game of test cricket with very good performances from both teams.

3 half centuries in Sri Lanka's first inning,8 wickets from Tim Southee, unbeaten 264 from Tom Latham and Unbeaten 141 and 120 from Mendis and Mathews gave all our cricket lovers a wonderful 5 days of cricket.
