New Zealand has currently scored 271 for 2 as a reply to Sri Lankan first inning score of 282.
They still trail by only 11 runs and the batsmen at the middle are Tom Latham on 100 and Ross Taylor on 32.
First innings lead will be crucial here for New Zealand as if they can get a lead around 150 to 200 it will help them to get the game away from the opposition.
Sri Lankan pace bowlers were not able to get anything out of the pitch and it seems like conditons have started favouring batsmen with the way these two are batting at the crease.
