But all of a sudden Australia went from 68 for no wickets to 73 for 3 courtesy of Indian spinners Krunal and Kuldeep.
But however Aussies managed to end up with 164 giving India a par score chase of 165.
India also got a brilliant opening stand of 67 and suddenly went to a tough situation of 108 for 4 wickets.
But well measured inning of Kholi who scored unbeaten 61 off 41 and experienced Dinesh Karthik's inning of 22 helped india to get over line in 20 th over ending the series 1-1 and making things exciting for rest of the tour.
Man of the match was Krunal Pandya for his brilliant spell of 4 for 36 runs.
